  I chose Bi-Mart Corporation because I am a former employee (employed for 12½ years), have shopped there for as long as I can remember, and I was curious about their marketing strategy. Their value proposition is that they are employee owned, offer low prices, have impeccable customer service, and are a smaller discount store. A lot of people have brand loyalty because they sell a variety of products and have a friendly atmosphere.   Overall, Bi-Mart has excellent reviews especially lately across Google, Reddit and TikTok. Most of the feedback online has included an aspect of their value proposition. Hyundai is now working with Amazon to sell their vehicles online! This instantly got my attention because whenever I am shopping for a car, the first thing I do is to start googling local dealerships. I thought this was a brilliant idea and it definitely makes sense with how many people are shopping online especially post-Covid!  The article titled “Hyundai shows how easy it is to ‘Add to Cart’ via Amazon Autos” by Aaron Baar in Marketing Dive tells us all about Hyundai’s newest marketing campaign. The three key takeaways are: Hyundai is flaunting that they are the first brand to collaborate with Amazon to sell cars online   This is the first campaign, and it highlights how it is easy to ‘Add to Cart’; the complimentary “mini campaign” is going to show how quick and easy it is to purchase a Hyundai off Amazon Autos By working with Amazon, Hyundai is going to reach consumers in “54 markets (representing 71% of Hyundai’s sales volume)”.            ...

  Hi, I'm Courtney! I am currently attending LBCC in pursuit of my AAOT degree with plans on transferring to OSU to major in Business Administration. This class happens to be one of the courses required for the degree. I am eager to learn more about marketing to consumers and learning how they think. This class is going to be particularly useful me since I love creating handmade items like keychains, jewelry and other accessories (which I sell on Ebay and Mercari)!
